Diamond band saws for rock projects

A diamond band saw belongs to a different cutting workflow from a circular trim or slab saw. Compare it when the intended material and shape are explicitly supported by the machine and fitted blade.

Start with the application

Use the manufacturer’s supported materials and cutting instructions to decide whether a diamond band blade serves the project. Do not transfer the capacity or feeding assumptions of a circular saw to this machine.

Read the bundle carefully

DB-100 offerings can differ in included blades. A listing that names several materials does not mean one blade cuts every material equally well. Check what is included and which blade is intended for the specific work.

Use a separate compatibility check

A band blade is not a circular disc with an arbor. Our circular Blade Checker intentionally does not certify band-saw fit. Consult the exact band length, blade type and machine documentation.

Not sure where to start? Use the Saw Finder or check blade specifications before narrowing your list.
